My work over the last four decades has included critical and creative works related to the history of writing, experimental typography, visual poetry, artists’ books, contemporary art, aesthetics, and digital humanities. This site contains notes on books, articles, projects, works in progress, and some information on teaching and other activities. I am currently working on several projects related to the digital humanities and preparing for an exhibit of my work, Druckwork 1972-2012: Books and Projects that will open in September, 2012, at Columbia College in Chicago.
An interview with Leo Amino was just published in Jacket2: https://jacket2.org/interviews/threads-talk
This also contains a link to the Threads talk, “How Some Poems Are Made,” done at Granary in New York City in March. http://media.sas.upenn.edu/pennsound/authors/Drucker/Drucker-Johanna_Threads_03-16-2011.mp3 which is pretty funny.
